It’s sad that she has to defend her marriage.
It’s sad she has to defend her blackness. The fact that she married and has a child with a white man makes her less black. Aint that something.
It’s funny when black men date/marry a women of a different race their “blackness” is not questioned…Let me be clear I have no issue with black men being with a woman of a different race because love is love no matter the race/religion/sexual orientation…It’s just sad that it’s 2014 and when people see a couple that is different it’s a problem and something ugly and not for what it truly is which is something beautiful, strong, and unique…it breaks my heart
